Qualification Tournament

Heckmeck am Bratwurmeck – Simple Rules

  1. All rules of the original game rule apply.
  2. Every contestant plays one game of “Heckmeck am Bratwurmeck” in the preliminary round1.
  3. The number of contestants should be evenly distributed on the tables.
  4. The finals are to be played with 6 players. Therefore, the number of tables in the preliminary round should be limited to a maximum of 6.
    The starting player and the order of seats are randomly drawn. For this the “Heckmeck” portions 21 – 26 can be used (21 = starting player, the order of seats follows the drawn numbers clockwise).
  5. The winners of the preliminary rounds and the respective runner-ups are qualified for the finals. In the finals there is one game of “Heckmeck am Bratwurmeck” to be played.

Heckmeck am Bratwurmeck – Professional Rules

  1. All rules of the original game rule apply.
  2. Every contestant plays two games2 of “Heckmeck am Bratwurmeck” in the preliminary round.
    The 6 players with the highest scores after both of the preliminary rounds are qualified for the finals. In the finals one game3 of “Heckmeck am Bratwurmeck” is played.
  3. If there are more than 36 players, we recommend introducing semi-finals with 12 players.
    The number of players should be evenly distributed on the talbles. However, there are
    only tables of 7, 6, 5 and 4!
  4. Every player gets a tournament score according to his result in a game.

    Winner:
    7 tournament points
    Runner-up:
    6 tournament points
    Third:
    5 tournament points
    Fourth:
    4 tournament points
    Fifth:
    3 tournament points
    Sixth:
    2 tournament points
    Seventh:
    1 tournament point

    Score for a table of 6
    Winner:
    7 tournament points
    Runner-up:
    5 tournament points
    Third:
    4 tournament points
    Fourth:
    3 tournament points

    2 tournament points

    Score for a table of 5
    Winner:

    To identify the players who qualified for the finals, the cumulated tournament score of their games in the preliminary round are compared. If there was a tie, the sum of the highest single bratwurm portion (the stone with the highest number) functions as a tie-breaker.
